The Great Malle Mountain Rally

This short film documents the longest motorcycle rally ever attempted across the entirety of the Alps Mountain range, in September of 2022. The ‘Great Malle Mountain Rally’ is a celebration of the wildest landscapes, up in the greatest mountains in Europe. Le ‘Grand Rallye Montagne’ set the unique challenge of taking on the whole of the Alps Mountain range in one wild motorcycle adventure, with riders coming in from around the globe. Riding a wild array of 2 wheeled rally machines, ranging from the very appropriate to the highly custom, classic and very inappropriate. Including a couple of Morgan Super 3’s for our support team.

The rally teams rode 1500 miles from East to West, from Austria to Monaco. 6 countries in 6 days, across all of the highest and wildest mountain passes in the Alps. Riders crossed the start line in Innsbruck, Austria at the majestic 14th century Schloss Friedberg, then South into Italy and the Dolomites, before heading West across Switzerland and into Liechtenstein. Then South again into Switzerland and into the French Alps. Reaching heights of 2770m+ at multiple points, above the clouds in the Haute Alps. Then it’s all downhill from there, as the teams head South through the Maritime Alps and finally completing at the rally finish line at sea level in Monaco, for a final and welcome dip in the Mediterranean.

The dates have been announced for next years Alpine adventure: September 3rd-10th, 2023.
